Here's the day 3 prompt: Tree Decorating. I wanted to add a box filled with decorations but I was out of commission yesterday (stomach flu) so I was unable to add it in. Either way, I really like how this one turned out, although I'll admit I added way too much detail to the birds! lol Zooming in too much while drawing can do that sometimes. 🤷

On another note, I'm digging these new brushes, I'm still figuring them out but they feel pretty good and they look more organic than what I usually go for. Which is exactly what I was looking for.

Because I'm still recovering from the flu, I might not participate in the next prompt since I don't want to put too much pressure on myself. We'll see though!

Can you believe It's been a year+ since I last too

Can you believe It's been a year+ since I last took part in an IG art challenge? I'm a bit rusty trying to come up with illustrations using word prompts, but I guess that's the perfect reason to take part!

For this December challenge, I will try to do as many days as my imagination allows. I will use only the brushes that I bought from @mimimoo_illustration and I will also focus more on spot illustrations while trying to practice my landscape skills.

This is Day 1! And already, it was a challenge alright! I completed a first draft of this illustration, came back to it 5 mins later, and decided I hated it. So, I completely redrew it 😰😰! This is the final drawing, and I'm happy with it. There are a few things I could continue to adjust, but at the end of the day, I don't want to spend 10 hours on a single prompt, so it's done! 😆
