Because it’s the month of love, I had to create with this theme in mind. I didn’t want my design to be too cheesy with tons of reds, pinks and cutesy hearts. Rather I wanted my illustration to have an elegance to it. Because of this, I chose to use a jewel-toned colour palette that would enhance this style. Opting for a velvety forest green with hints of gold, coral pinks, and emerald greens.
I also wanted my linework to be ornate while being quite feminine and graceful. I ended up with some beautifully illustrated florals and leaves all weaving together to form a lovely frame around its focal point phrase. I love love love the end result! I can’t decide which design I prefer more between the mobile and desktop versions!
